WATCH A LIVE STREAMED MASS ONLINE
When a Catholic cannot attend Mass, they should make every effort to continue to participate in the Sunday Mass (either Saturday evening or on Sunday) by watching a live streamed or live telecast Mass. Even when we are unable to come to church for Mass, the Sunday Eucharist remains the foundation of our Christian live.
When participating in Mass online or on TV you want to try to watch it live via live streaming or live telecast. When you are watching a Mass live and the priest gives the blessing, you receive the graces from this blessing as if you were actually there. This is not the case with a recorded Mass.
Also, it is important to give the Mass the same attention as if you were in church for Mass. Set everything else aside. Try to create an area free of distractions around the computer or TV you will be using. Participate with the same responses, posture and gestures (as is reasonably possible) as you would if you were in church. Turn off your phones and avoid answering the door if at all possible. Don’t get up to get a snack. You are not watching entertainment or a documentary! You are participating in the Divine Liturgy!
At the time for Holy Communion, one should make a “spiritual communion,” asking God to come to you and grant you the same graces as if you were actually receiving Holy Communion in person.
ACT OF SPIRITUAL COMMUNION
My Jesus, I believe that You are present
in the Most Holy Sacrament.
I love You above all things,
and I desire to receive You into my soul.
Since I cannot at this moment
receive You sacramentally,
come at least spiritually into my heart.
I embrace You as if You were already there
and unite myself wholly to You.
Never permit me to be separated from You. Amen.

When possible, one should try to participate in a live telecast or live streaming of the Mass, as opposed to merely watching a recording of the Mass – especially for Sunday Mass. (USCCB: Guidelines for Televising the Liturgy)
